2nd Annual KSA Ham & Turkey Sale Results - The Spartanburg Knights of St. Andrew raised $2,517.00 during the 2011 Ham & Turkey Sale. All of this money goes to support the children at the Rite Care Childhood Language Centers in South Carolina.

275th Annual Grand Lodge Communication - The 275th Annual Grand Lodge Communication will be April 24 - 27, 2012 in Charleston, SC. All of the chapters of the Knights of St. Andrew across South Carolina have been asked by MWB Jay Adam Pearson, Grand Master of Masons in South Carolina, to escort dignitaries from around the world during the opening procession. The Knights of St. Andrew are honored that the Grand Master has included us in this momentous occasion. All KSA members in attendance are requested to wear a black suit with black socks and black shoes and white shirt, the ha,t, tie and sash utilized by their particular chapter (for Spartanburg: Glengarry hat and Carolina Tartan tie and sash which will be in production soon), and white gloves. For more details concerning practices, lodging, and the Grand Lodge schedule please contact Jerry Kimmons at 864-809-1931 or kimmons_j@bellsouth.net.

Scottish Rite Interest Night - The Valley of Spartanburg will be hosting another Scottish Rite Interest Night on Tuesday, February 28, 2012 at Lone Oak Lodge #372 at 7:30pm.  Please RSVP by contacting the Membership Chairmen: Jerry Kimmons at 864-809-1931 or kimmons_j@bellsouth.net; or Nick Gregory at 864-415-2173 or nickgregory@charter.net. KSA Library - The Spartanburg Chapter is in the process of starting a library at the Masonic Temple. Efforts are underway to obtain a bookcase with lockable doors to keep the books secure. A system will be developed where a few brothers will have access to the bookcase and can assist Scottish Rite members in checking out a book. This will include a log of each book and who has checked out the book. KSA resources are limited so members are being asked to loan some books from their personal collection to the KSA library once it is up and running.

The Spartanburg Chapter of the Knights of St. Andrew honored Bruce Chennery, 32nd K.C.C.H. with a plaque and an honorary membership in the KSA during the Valley of Spartanburg business meeting on April 4, 2011. Without the tireless efforts of Bro. Chennery the Spartanburg Chapter of the KSA would not have become a reality. Bruce continues to be a mentor and an advocate of the KSA.
